“I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. – John 17:20-21

FEEDING OUR NEIGHBORS CAMPAIGN- In the Archdiocese of New York, there are over 300,000 children whose families have difficulty in obtaining the food they need.  Please consider helping us address this very serious need and this terrible injustice by taking part in the Feeding Our Neighbors campaign (January 25-February 1).  There will be a box in the vestibule of the church to collect food that will be distributed at our food pantry, and of course we always appreciate the donations of food and of money that you so generously give throughout the year.  You can also make a $10 donation to the Archdiocese’s campaign by texting “CCHOPE” to 85944- each dollar of that donation will support four meals for hungry families.  Especially in this land of plenty, no one should go without what they need to survive.  For more information, please go to http://www.catholiccharitiesny.org/make-a-donation/feeding-our-neighbors

WEEKLY STUDENT MASSES- Beginning on Sunday, January 25, we will celebrate Mass at 7:00 P.M. with the students from SUNY Campus Ministry every week that school is in session.   These students will be responsible for the music and for the other liturgical ministries at these Masses.  There will be a reception after each Mass in the church hall or the parish center for some socializing and light refreshments.  And you don’t have to be a student to attend the Masses- everyone is invited.  More details to come.
