On Friday, November 1 the Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints. This is a holyday of obligation, and the Masses on that day will be at 9:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. There will be no Vigil Mass on that Thursday.
This solemnity can be a good opportunity to celebrate the people who have lived Christ-like lives in this world- those who are officially canonized by the Church just as much as those people we’ve known who’ve radiated the love of Christ by how they lived and how they loved the people around them. It’s also a good time to reflect on our own vocation to be saints, which is very possible to achieve for all of us.
