On Sunday, June 2 we celebrate the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, formerly known as Corpus Christi. This is of course a very important observance for us as it celebrates the gift of the Eucharist, the presence of Christ given to us out of love so that we can be united to Him as individuals and we can be united to one another in Him. On that day, we will have a Corpus Christi procession through town, beginning at the Middle School at 1:30 P.M., going down Main St., and ending up at the church where we will have Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Please join us and invite as many people as you’d like to be with us. This is going to be a wonderful expression of our great love of the Eucharist and a witness to the people of this town of our spirit of community and our solidarity in faith.
