Come and join us on Friday, December 20 at 7:00 P.M. for “Las Posadas”, which is a tradition that has long been celebrated in Mexico and Central America. It commemorates the difficult journey that Mary and Joseph undertook from Nazareth to Bethlehem looking for a warm and safe place to spend the night and to prepare for the birth of Jesus. It can help us to remember and be in solidarity with the many families around the world that are also seeking shelter and refuge.
Our “Las Posadas” will a reenactment of that journey and will be a warm and joyful gathering with many different Latin-American traditional foods and beverages and games for children. This event is sponsored by our Brazos Abiertos ministry and all are welcome.
