The Seder meal is celebrated each year in Jewish homes at Passover time and Jesus instituted the Eucharist when He celebrated this Passover meal with His disciples. On Wednesday, March 20 at 6:00 P.M. in our church hall, we will gather to celebrate a Christian Seder Meal and experience the origin of the Mass. We will use many of the prayers in a traditional Seder meal, sing songs and use ceremonial foods including haroshes, bitter herbs, matzoh and eggs. Supper will be a meal of baked chicken, rice, a green salad, and a quinoa salad. To cover the cost of the meal, we are asking for a contribution of $7 per person ($20 per entire family). Please RSVP by Monday, March 11. You can do so by contacting Kathy Seyfert at 914-388-7674 or at [email protected]. Or you can fill out one of the forms on the tables in the church and drop it off or send it in to the parish office. All are welcome!
